The Story
Billy's Lounge sits at the heart of Eastown — a 250-capacity room that's been a live-music anchor on Wealthy Street since the 1960s. The building started as Warner Groceries, passed through a string of watering holes, and found its voice as one of Grand Rapids' longest-running entertainment venues.
The stage has seen blues legends and basement bands alike. The bar pours $2 wells and $3 Liquid Marijuana shots. The dance floor sits center-stage, lit by candles and whatever the sound engineer dials in that night. Pool tables in the back. Free popcorn at the bar. Bring your own food from Yesterdog next door.
